Tittle: T2 Maths Learning Story.

Maths

In maths I have been learning to use a range of strategies to solve problems like place value partitioning,using my timetables to work out division problems, and multiplying the hundreds,tens and ones when I use bigger numbers.

On Friday I did 2 X 25 =?(I Broke up the numbers up into tens and ones).

25 x 2 = (2 x 20) + (2 x 5) 
           = 40 + 10
           = 50
I Know that 25 X 2 is she Same as (20 X 2) + (5 X 2). 

In maths I work together with my learning team to solve problems. 

I can listen to my group when they talk about the problem and think about if I agree or disagree with them. If I don't understand I can ask my team to repeat it or I can ask them a question like "can you explain that again please?"
